Our goal - help strengthen the expertise of minority members in the information technology community, offer this expertise to those minorities evaluating information technology for career or business potential, and broaden the information technology knowledge of the Greater Dallas community as a whole.

BDPA is a global member focused technology organization that delivers programs and services for the professional well-being of its stakeholders.

Stacy L. Stewart

President

Stacy L. Stewart studied Criminal Justice at the University of Central Oklahoma. A strong advocate for community service, diversity & inclusion initiatives, he encourages his employees to get involved, gain knowledge and contribute to the understanding of our differences. His professional interests focus on managing the Hardware Logistics / Asset Management team and lead IT support functions. He also provides strategic planning, implementation and logistical management. In addition, he serves as President of BDPA Dallas Chapter, and is a member of the Academy of Information Technology advisory board. He was recently honored with a nomination for the President's Diversity & Inclusion Award for his contribution to diversity and inclusion at Health Care Service Corporation and surrounding communities.

Denise Holmes

VP Business Management

Denise Holmes attended North Texas State for graduate studies in Business Administration. She studied LAN Administration at Microsoft University and began her career in Information Technology. She currently hold the position of Problem Management Manager in the ITG Operations at Health Care Service Corporation. Her team utilizes the Solution Delivery Methodology to ensure the Operations areas are operational ready to support production systems when implemented. Her community service activities includes volunteering with the Caring for Children organization that offers free immunization clinics in the DFW metroplex. She has been a part of the BDPA organization for the past 5 years and is 2012-2014 President-Elect with HCSC BDPA Corporate Chapter.

Angie Pesek

VP Member Management

Angie Pesek is currently pursuing a B.A. of Science in Human Relations and Business. A strong advocate for organizations that promote the advancement of young adults in Corporate America, she is involved in various volunteer activities which include mentoring young teens in abusive relationships, National Night out with the Richardson Police Department, and various employer sponsored events for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas as well as being a supporter of Big Brother Big Sister and Greek Sororities. Her professional interests focus on teamwork, being a strong resource for any individual in need of assistance or advice, and learning new things with a positive attitude. These attributes assist her in her career, daily life, as well as being a small business owner of a bakery. She is a firm believer in religion, family support, and working hard to advance as an individual.
